Today was Nathan's first trip to the Dentist. We took him to our Dentist and he saw our Dental Hygienist, Susan. We just love Susan she is like a member of the family she comes to all our parties and also even went to my Dad's retirement party. I had debated on trying to get an appointment with a pediatric dentist but the more I thought about it the more I was more comfortable with him seeing Susan. He has said all day that he was going to see Ms. Susan and when we would ask him how he was going to do for Ms. Susan to look at his teeth he would open his mouth wide. That was before we got there. He was not real sure about laying down in the chair. And was not real thrilled about her looking in his mouth. So we had to pretty much hold him down and force him to open his mouth. She got to look at all his teeth and said they looked good and no cavities. So that was it for the first visit. He goes back in June. One of the receptionist recommended letting him come with one of us when we have to get our teeth cleaned so he can see what she does. So we will probably do that. Dr. Dacus was working on someone in the next room and Nathan kept going in there watching them. They are so nice and laid back there that they did not even care. So he has at least gone and met Susan and hopefully each time he goes will get a little better.Tuesday, December 30, 2008
