March is almost here

I can't believe that it is almost March. It seems like time is really going by fast. Of course the weather is funky once again. It did a dusting of snow earlier so now the grass has a dusting of snow on it. Luckily it was not below freezing so no frozen streets. I am not kidding when I tell you that just the other day I was wearing short sleeves and it got up in the 70s. The weather is so funky. It is supposed to be in the 70s by the end of the week. Nathan's allergies or whatever was the problem is getting better, his nose is not running near as much. We made it through the week, I was a little nervous this week because Nathan brought home a note on Monday and it said that there was the flu going around at school and one of the kids that had it was in Nathan's class. So I just kept praying that we would make it through the week without any sickness and we did so I feel much better. I hope everyone has a good week. Oh, and I did decide to post a few pictures(of course I never miss an opportunity to post a picture of my sweet boy).

Rainy Day

It is a rainy day. So I have my lounging clothes on and don't plan on getting out today. We are going to stay in today and just relax and watch it rain. Nathan was feeling a little droopy yesterday so I kept him home from school. I think it is just sinus allergy stuff because of the changing weather. It is 70 one day then 40 the next then in the 50s and 60s the next so the weather has been real funky. He has a little bit of a cough and his nose is runny a little but it is clear so that is why I don't think it is a cold. But we have been giving him Tylenol Multi-Cold and that makes him feel better. But so far this morning I have not had to give him medicine and he is watching his movies in his room and seems like he feels a lot better. I hope everyone has a great week. Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day to everyone. Nathan had his Valentines party at school yesterday and they said it was a great party. Of course Nathan does not care about the candy or sweets but his teachers said he did eat some chips. Today is his friend, Keira's birthday so we are going to go to her party later. She is having a bowling party so that should be entertaining. I took one picture of Nathan this morning and he was blowing a kiss. I hope everyone has a great day and rest of the weekend.



The birthday party was fun. Nathan liked bowling and watching other people bowl. I posted a few pictures. He didn't really want to leave because he wanted to play again and watch people bowl. But other than that it was a fun day.

Uncle David is so talented

These are some old pictures, actually taken over a year ago at Nathan's 4th birthday party. I was looking at some pictures and ran across these and don't know why I did not post them then so I am doing it now. David did this picture on Nathan's Etch A Sketch. I thought it was really amazing. This is proof that more than just a box or house can be done on an Etch A Sketch. Just thought I would share, hope everyone enjoys the pictures. Fun Time at the Park

Today the weather was very nice in the upper 60's. So we decided to go to Burns Park after Nathan got out of school. We had a fun time and of course I took some pictures since I got my nice small camera for Christmas and always have it in my purse. It is supposed to be a beautiful weekend also so hopefully we will be able to get outside again tomorrow. Days like this sure do give me Spring fever. But I know we still have more cold days ahead but we are taking advantage of our nice spring like days. Daddy will be gone Tuesday through Thursday next week, he is going on a trip to pick up some guys and then take them to Nellis Air Force Base. For those of you that don't know where Nellis is it is in Las Vegas. So he figured this should be a good trip so he is going on it. So next Tuesday night I think Brandy, Braydon and Gavin are going to come over. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Happy Groundhog Day

Well the Groundhog saw his shadow so that means 6 more weeks of winter. I really can't complain because our weather is not really feeling too much like winter right now. As everyone knows Arkansas has freaky weather. Well last week there was an ice storm and over the weekend the temperature was in the 60's. It was cold this morning but turning out to be a beautiful day. But you never know with Arkansas we could have snow tomorrow. We had fun last night. Mema and Granddad came over and the chili was good. Nathan ate one bite of chili because he thought it was taco meat(he loves taco meat)but after that bite realized it was not so he did not eat anymore chili. I hope everyone has a great day.

Super Bowl

Not that I really care about the football game but it is fun to watch the commercials and half time. I was cleaning the house today and since Daddy is such a great guy he vacuumed for me.(I hate to vacuum and I am still wishing for the day to come that I get a Roomba). Anyway Daddy vacuumed for me and Nathan got the Swiffer Sweeper that I had gotten out to use and decided to "help" Daddy sweep. I thought it was cute. Nathan loves to sweep. Daddy is making some Venison Chili tonight for dinner. YUM! Meemaw and Granddad are going to come over and eat and watch the Super Bowl. I hope everyone has a great week.
