More pictures of Nathan

Sometimes I just take a picture of Nathan because of what he is wearing. I just had to take a picture of him this morning before he went to school wearing his long shorts. It is in the 50s this morning but is going to be in the 80s before the day is over so I did not want to put him in jeans. So I put him in his long pants that you can roll up to make long shorts that his Aunt Shell bought for him. Aunt Shell works at Penney's so she finds the bargains and bought him some new clothes. I just thought he looked too cute in his long shorts. Also he loves to get on Daddy's shoulders so here are a couple of shots of him on Daddy's shoulders. Hope everyone has a great rest of the week.

Excitement at Nathan's school

There was some excitement at Nathan's school today. When we got there everyone was standing outside the front door. One of the teachers told me that they smelled what smelled like an electrical fire so they called the fire department. Two fire trucks came with their sirens going and lights flashing. The kids were so excited. Nathan kept jumping and laughing and saying, "I am jumping." The two year olds were clapping and jumping. It was nothing the firefighters said it was clear to go in. But it was exciting because the kids got to see the fire trucks and firefighters. I was just glad it was nothing. We got our new windows put in last week. We are now having 80 degree weather so they were put in just in time.

Happy Tax Day

Is there really such a thing? I guess if you are getting money back it could be happy. The weather here has been very cool. But today is a little warmer than yesterday and I think the high today is supposed to be in the 60s. It has been real cool in the mornings. We are getting new windows for our upstairs on Thurs. and Fri. I am so excited. We got new windows downstairs a couple of years ago and it makes such a difference. So now we are getting the upstairs done. So we will have new windows before the blazing hot summer. Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week.

Stormy Weather

Last Thursday night tornadoes blew through town. It was very scary. When the siren went off the second time and they said that a tornado hit the North Little Rock we decided to get Nathan out of bed and we were ready to get into the laundry room. Nathan was not happy at all about us waking him up. The tornado hit the North Little Rock Airport and Sylvan Hills High School which are not far at all from our house. Luckily we did not have any damage.

Nathan is back in school and we are pretty much back to normal. I enjoyed having him home with me last week but he was ready to go back to school. Just thought I would add a few more pictures since Donald taught me how to do it by myself. The new activity before bed now is playing with the tops. He loves for Donald to spin them.
